Tech Lead – Java/J2ee

We are hiring a talented Tech Lead – Java/J2ee for our company with 7+ years of experience. This is a full-time role located at our Mississauga office.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Works with Service Delivery Leads to prioritize and ensure services meet Client requirements and expectations.
  • Work with Service Delivery Leads to ensure Operational processes/procedures are established, documented, maintained and followed.
  • Work with Client Services, Vendors and IT Services to identify, communicate and manage service scope (expectation versus contractual) for supported products and services.
  • Manage Planning, Execution and Closure of Projects
  • Identify and Manage all deliverables
  • Collaborate with Project Sponsors, fellow Project Managers and other Stakeholders
  • Prepare Project Plans and Schedules
  • Identify and Escalate conflicts, issues to mitigate Risk
  • Negotiate and communicate with Regional Teams regarding equipment forecasting, ordering, deliveries, logistics
  • Schedule weekly status meeting with stakeholders
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of servers and network devices, security, antivirus, backups, Internet, and intranet.
  • Monitor, respond to and troubleshoot of applications, servers and devices sufficient to meet service level agreements.
  • Strong Working knowledge of Java and J2ee
  • Implement and administer applications, system and network security.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

  • Proven experience with servers and network hardware to support a complex network infrastructure

  • Liferay Portal
  • Spring, Hibernate, and Jersey
