WAS/WMB Developer

We are searching for a talented WAS/WMB Developer to join our growing company. This is a 6 month contract with potential for full-time employment.

The job duties include:

  • Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing web applications to deliver high-performance and responsive web applications
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Work and communicate effectively in a team environment

You’ll need to have experience with:

  • Experience with Websphere Message Broker (WMB) / IBM Integration Bus / Websphere Application Server
  • Experience with WTX(WebSphere Transformation Extender), SOAP, WSDL, XML XSLT XPath and related web services concepts
  • Senior development and support of Message Broker flows using WebSphere Message Broker V7.0 or higher version
  • Development experience in data transformation with WMB
  • Experience in Java development
  • Experience in Java Enterprise Java Beans (EJB)
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Exposure in the Spring Framework
  • Exposure with MVC design pattern
  • Exposure with Hibernate frameworks

Your qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years professional experience in either WAS or WMB
