Often the client sponsor and stakeholders have a symptom or problem to be solved but are unclear on the root cause triggering the symptom or problem. Using Veriday’s proprietary issue based methodology, the Veriday team will uncover the facts and findings that confirm the root cause(s)
With Root Cause established, the Veriday team can propose varying solutions that can be attributed to solve the specific root cause problems at play. Veriday will also elicit stakeholder feedback to align recommendation to the considerations and constraints of the Client Environment
Comprehensive Change Plans
With root cause and solutions tabled, Veriday is in a position to recommend a comprehensive change plan comprised of short term, medium and longer term actions that allows the client select a roadmap aligned to their needs
This package is for Business Leadership struggling with either renewing their existing Intranet and putting themselves on a better foundation OR wishes to stand-up their first Intranet. In both cases the client is desiring to significantly enhance their Employee Experience and have a strong foundation to improve from..
Discovery & Pre-Planning
5 – 10 days
Discover is a planning and setup phase to put in place the foundations for project and solution success. Veriday will work with you to: Baseline the project plan and establish the project governance for status reporting and meetings. Elicit client’s highest level requirements through stakeholder workshops, requirements and solutioning sessions This is a multi-day day process including meetings with client stakeholders to confirm requirements and major high level customer experience design architecture decisions Progress the deployment of Liferay environments. Start “no-regrets” development and iterative prototyping so that requirements can be progressed into a usable solution understanding as the project unfolds, if applicable. Help define and guide you through critical infrastructure planning and decisions points, such as configuration, logical, physical and solution architecture, high availability and performance. Plan for and execute basic training
Change Management Plan
No Regrets Solution
Design (UI/UX) is the next stage of project progression. Using the Design Thinking methodology, we collaborate with you to validate the proposed UX. The Veriday team will also continue to progress the solution architecture and the development and iterative prototyping so that requirements can be progressed into a usable solution understanding as the project unfolds. This also allows the quality of the product to be measured in a progressive way
Implement is the primary development and migration phase. Partnering with client stakeholders, we will implement the corporate site theme strategy and design. We will translate the design into physical site templates and configured Liferay code, ready for content. The content and navigational structures of the corporate website will be developed and finalized according to the agreed approach. The Veriday team will be deploying completed solution components on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to you so that rapid verification of the solution against the requirements can be confirmed. In this phase, we will be doing both quality assurance planning with you in preparation for the Validate phase and initiation of quality assurance execution of its own as part of the release process
Completed Solution Development
Validate is the QA execution and, migration, and deployment planning phase. Partnering with client stakeholders, we will perform the necessary quality assurance testing, performance testing as a focus for this engagement and provide support for your User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The Veriday team will work with you to execute remaining training and content migration and deployment to enable the solution to Go Live. Transitioning to the new environment (Go Live) process is scheduled immediately after solution training, your User Acceptance Testing is completed and solution sign off has been achieved.
System & User Acceptance Tested Solutions
Deployment is the next to final project phase in which the solution is transitioned to the new environment. (Go Live) process is scheduled immediately after solution training, Client Acceptance Testing and completion and solution sign off has been achieved. This phase also incorporates the Project Handover where the solution is transitioned to the operations team and sometimes considered the sustainment team.
Warrant & Support
1 month / Ongoing
Warranty is the final project phase in which any remaining solution defects are addressed by the implementation team prior to project closure and transition to Veriday’s Ongoing Support Team. Veriday delivers warranty typically as part of our Ongoing Application Management team and processes.
